Zetasizer Nano ZS 90 – Classical 90 Degree As a consequence of these features, the Nano ZS technical specifications exceed those for any other commercially available light scattering instrument, with a size and working concentration range of 0.6 nm to 6 u m and 1 ppm to 3 0 w% respectively for sizing measurements a molecular weight range of 1 to 2000 kDa for mass measurements and a size and conductivity range of 5 nm to 30 um and 0 to 200 mS/cm respectively for zeta potential measurements. Satisfying this unique mix of requirements was accomplished via the integration of a patented Non-Invasive Backscatter (NIBS) optical configuration and the design of a novel cell chamber. The Zetasizer Nano ZS system from Malvern Instruments is the first commercial instrument to include the hardware and software for combined dynamic, static, and electrophoretic light scattering measurements of particle size, mass, and charge. A high temperature range version, with a temperature range of 2 to 120 C, is also available for each basic model. All models come standard equipped with temperature control from 2 to 90 C.
